The Abolitionist Award is presented annually to individuals who are active in the fight to end modern day slavery by efforts in prevention, prosecution, and protection of victims, and have demonstrated a commitment to creating a local and global community that values human life and abhors practices that deny a person’s right to live a life free from violence, exploitation, or slavery.
