The M3 Model: Integrated Framework for Transformation
Project type
Programs
The M3 Model is Empower People’s integrated framework for long-term rehabilitation and leadership development of survivors of bride trafficking and forced marriage. It combines three interdependent pillars—Market, Mental Health, and Mission—to address economic exclusion, trauma recovery, and social isolation simultaneously.
Market: Restores economic agency through entrepreneurship training, collective enterprises, and digital market access.
Mental Health: Provides trauma-informed counseling, peer support, and community-based healing to reduce PTSD, depression, and isolation.
Mission: Builds survivor-led solidarity networks and democratic collectives (such as Sakhi Mandal) that drive rights assertion and systemic change.
Grounded in survivor-centered design and trauma-informed practice, the M3 Model moves women from crisis to stability to leadership—transforming them from isolated individuals into economically independent, psychologically resilient, and politically organized rights-holders.
