18 Years of a Silent resistance

As we stand on the threshold of our 18th anniversary, we are filled with immense pride and gratitude for our incredible journey together in our relentless pursuit of justice and empowerment. On December 18th, 18 years ago, we embarked on a mission to combat bride trafficking and uplift the lives of those affected by this heinous crime. Today, as we reflect on our shared accomplishments, challenges, and triumphs, we are reminded of the collective strength that binds us.

Over the years, Empower People has evolved into a beacon of hope, standing tall against the dark shadows of bride trafficking. We have been the voice for those who were silenced, the advocates for justice in the face of injustice, and the catalysts for change in a world that often turns a blind eye to the suffering of vulnerable individuals.

Our commitment to eradicating bride trafficking has not wavered; if anything, it has grown stronger with each passing year. Through our unwavering dedication, we have made significant strides in raising awareness, providing support, and influencing policies to protect the rights and dignity of those at risk.

As we celebrate this milestone, let us take a moment to acknowledge the hard work, passion, and resilience that define the spirit of Empower People. Each one of you—our team members, volunteers, partners, and supporters—has played an invaluable role in shaping our organisation and driving positive change.

Looking forward, let us renew our commitment to the cause and continue our mission with even greater determination. There is still much work to be done, and together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of those affected by bride trafficking.

Thank you for being an integral part of our journey. Here's to 18 years of unwavering dedication, resilience, and the promise of a brighter, more just future for all.
